About Christina

Christina is passionate about massage and is qualified to a high level

Christina founded Pure Urban Massage in January 2011. Trained in Swedish and deep tissue styles as well as sports massage, Christina utilises a “toolbox” of techniques to provide massages that are relaxing yet effective to ease aches and pains caused by stress, poor posture, injury, physical work or sport. Massages offer help with recovery from tight, tense muscles, and can be a well-deserved break from everyday stress.

Christina has a friendly, professional style, with a caring and person-centred approach. Her clients vary from busy executives, manual workers (or keen gardeners!), sportspeople whether professional athletes or “weekend warriors”, or those looking to treat themselves to well-deserved “me” time.

Christina is a member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists. The FHT requires its therapists to carry out additional training each year (continued professional development). This ensures skills are kept up to date. Christina relocated from Bath back to her home county of Suffolk in March 2016, renovating a country cottage in rural eastern Suffolk alongside her massage work, then to the west Suffolk village of Ixworth near her home town of Bury St Edmunds, in September 2018.
